Braxfield Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency working within the social housing sector. We have been appointed by a housing provider based in West London who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Administrator on an interim contract.
As a Health & Safety Administrator you will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining the H&S inbox using initiative to take actions where appropriate, flagging issues, coordinating tasks and responses and monitoring and “following-up” all actions to ensure completion.
- Viewing accidents/incidents on the AIRS/other systems and supporting colleagues as necessary with queries; reviewing responses and sending reminders in a timely manner.
- Managing and issuing the ERO rota in a proactive and timely manner.
- Providing related management and support, working with H&S colleagues.
- Helping investigate and review ERO-related incidents.
- Assisting with First Aid kits and ordering materials.
- Assisting with provision of training, including course arrangement, venue selection and preparation.
- Answering resident queries in timely and efficient manner and forwarding FRA and Asbestos reports as necessary.
- Checking H&S in-box for PTW requests and assisting with issue of RFI document to PTW applicants.
- Assisting with preparation of PTW applications for review by colleague or H&S Officer.
- Issuing and logging PPE and managing stock levels.
To be considered for the position of Health & Safety Administrator you must have the following:
- Strong administration background in the housing sector.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirement in housing.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- Experience of using Northgate (preferred).

Hourly rate: £15 - £18 p/h
