- Braxfield Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency working within the property management and social housing sectors. We have been appointed by a G15 housing association to work with them to find two interim Clerk of Works to join the property services asset management team.
The role will involve inspecting ongoing works in progress for passive fire safety identified from fire risk assessments. These will include but are not limited to the installation of all passive and active fire protection equipment such as domestic & communal fire door sets, fire stopping and compartmentation, sprinkler, fire alarm, AOV, signage and cyclical decs.
As a Clerk of Works you will be responsible for ensuring that contractors are producing the quality of work agreed and that these are being completed in line with the required timeframes and to budget. You will work with the project surveyors and managers to ensure that customers are informed of progress and that there is a high and compliant standard of health and safety on site.
The properties are spread from South London through north Kent and Surrey and so a vehicle will be required for this particular position. Mileage and reasonable travel expenses (Parking etc) can obviously be claimed back.
