- Braxfield Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency working within the property management and social housing sectors. We have been appointed by a G15 housing association to work with them to find an interim Fire Programme Manager to oversee the passive fire safety works programmes.
The fire risk schedule and inspections are outsourced and managed by a consultancy but all follow up and remedial works are co-ordinated internally. Accordingly, the Fire Programme Manager will be responsible for the overall planning and management of the FRA remedial works and fire safety planned & cyclical works programmes. This will include the installation of all passive and active fire protection equipment such as domestic & communal fire door sets, fire stopping and compartmentation, sprinkler, fire alarm, AOV, signage, cyclical decs from inception to final accounts.
In addition to this, the Fire Programme Manager will manage policy issues, communal area items, resident communications etc. to ensure that other departments are completing these in line with timescales set in the initial FRA’s. There will also be a need for management of fire safety framework contractors to ensure that works are monitored and managed correctly whilst in progress. This will require regular meetings, KPIs and site presence by your team.
The Fire Programme manager will line manage a team of project surveyors delivering planned fire safety works together with team administrators.
