Braxfield Recruitment are working with a leading G15 Social Housing provider who are looking to recruit an interim Assistant Director of Gas, Heating and renewable energy.
The residential gas and commercial heating systems across the stock are maintained by a combination of in-house specialist staff and external contractors and this post holder will oversee the operational management of this together with strategic management of the delivery of upgrades to plant machinery and heating systems. In addition they will have strategic responsibility for the procurement of contractors to manage the maintenance and replacement of renewable energy heat sources such as air source, ground source and HIU’s.
The successful candidate will be supported by an existing team of gas and heating managers, engineers and specialist administrators but it is essential that they have had experience of managing within these specific M&E specialisms at this level at another social housing provider.
