Contracts Manager

We are supporting a large social housing provider who are looking for a contracts manager to join them on an interim basis to deliver actions that have come from fire risk assessments.

The fire risk schedule and inspections are outsourced and managed by a consultancy but the follow up and remedial works are co-ordinated internally. Accordingly, the contracts manager will be responsible for the overall planning and management of the FRA remedial works. This will include all passive and active fire protection equipment such as domestic & communal fire door sets, fire stopping and compartmentation, sprinkler, fire alarm, AOV and signage.

Works will range from small jobs that are quick and easy to resolve through to larger projects where more contract management will be required. The contract manager will be expected to allocated works to the relevant panel contractor seeing these through to completion and sign off. The role is expected to be predominantly office based with some site visits required.
