Braxfield Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency working within the social housing sector. We have been appointed by a housing provider based in North West London who are looking to recruit a Planned Works Administrator on a permanent basis.
The role will involve providing an administrative service for the planned team, dealing effectively and promptly with all issues and reporting any problems to the Head of Planned Works or the Operations Director.
As a planned works administrator, you will be providing assistance on projects such as Decent Homes, Cyclical Work or Major Works.
Using your experience in customer service you will be able to initiate and maintain a good communication with residents to book in appointments and arrange access. These skills will also assist you when dealing with any initial complaints. You will have the ability to resolve any complaints at first stage ensuring the customer is happy, or pass across to the relevant department when necessary, keeping the customers updated throughout the process.
For this role, you will need to hold good organisational skills, this will enable you to manage diaries and schedule appoints for all operational resources including surveyors, supervisors and operatives, effectively and efficiently.
You will ensure all records are always kept up to date including job details, appointments, job statuses, relevant time & dates and costs.
The role will also require you to liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensuring the smooth running of the programme.
To be considered for the postion of Planned Works Administrator you must have the following:
- Strong administration background in the housing sector.
- Experience of using Northgate (V6).
- Knowledge and experience of major works/contract administration.
- Experience in resource planning and allocation
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work well in a high-pressured environment.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Location: North West London
