You will be responsible for utilising resources within the local neighbourhood, speaking with residents and sometimes having difficult life skills conversations, that will enable them to make more informed choices in their lives.
Other duties will include:- Managing void properties and tenancy fraud. Minimising losses from void properties by managing the process and actively working with colleagues to minimise the void period.
- Managing and responding to customer complaints.
- When required, you will support the women with referrals and application forms, signposting them to external services such as local authority, social services, local OT etc, monitoring the progress and liaising with appropriate agencies to ensure identified needs are met.
- Monitoring and managing arrears and preparing and presenting cases in courts regarding Breaches of Tenancy and evictions.
- Responding and reporting any ASB cases.
- Reporting repairs to properties and estate areas, chasing up operatives on any outstanding works.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
- Previous experience working as a Neighbourhood Officer.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience of tenancy management, voids & lettings and ASB.
