Braxfield Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency working within the housing sector. We have been appointed by a large residential management organisation who are looking for a Head of Energy to develop a new team and subsequent division.

The organisation provide affordable, private and social rented homes, student, NHS and temporary accommodation, as well as supported housing and homes for older people.

This newly created role will be leading the new Energy team where you will be tasked with devising an Energy strategy to promote a holistic approach to the management of the communal utility supplies to ensure the best possible deal.

You will be responsible for Energy Procurement and/or production and will be expected to create a long term energy business plan with opportunities to widen the scope of energy provision to both the residents and other organisations. You will prepare, manage and deliver Decentralised Energy and Landlord Metering Equipment and budget(s) as well as being expected to attend financial review meetings and being able to evaluate compliance and conformity and provide KPI’s.

You will work alongside the development and asset management teams to ensure new heat networks go in to new build properties with pipes being supplied and retro-fitted to other residential and non-residential buildings in the area.

To be successful you will have experience of leading, supporting and managing a large property portfolio and have Energy and environment project management experience to include, energy efficiency, utilities and government energy efficiency incentives.

You will have a track record and a successful history of the planning and management needed to deliver operational initiatives on time and within budget.
