£250 - £350 / day
Braxfield are working exclusively with a Local Authority in West London who are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead on the procurement of all services and equipment across the property services division which includes M&E, planned works and re-active repairs.
You will be required to collaborate with stakeholders, initiate and maintain relationships with critical suppliers, negotiate agreements and undertake key sourcing and tendering exercises. Additionally ensuring that all procurement services are compliant, effective and provide best possible value for money, maintaining awareness of risk management for supply contracts that are of significant value.
Ideally you will have previously managed procurement for a property services division within a social housing provider or alternatively a contractor who have managed the repairs and planned maintenance, including M&E, to a large social landlord. Public sector procurement experience with high value would be seen as an advantage.
Categories required are:
Property Repairs and Maintenance;
Grounds maintenance and cleaning services;
MCIPS (Or evidence of working towards)
Prince 2 (Or similar project management qualification)
The hourly / day rate is negotiable and subject to a conversation with Braxfield recruitment prior to being put forward to the Local Authority as the work will sit within the new IR35 legislation.
